WORTHY of RECOGNITION.

Tell us about your educational highlight honor or accomplishment. What is it and how did you do it?

“I am currently Sadler Arts Academy Site Educator of the Year for 2018. Site educator is someone who is nominated and voted for by peers.”

Why is this accomplishment important for you?

“The reason I feel this is such a tremendous accomplishment is because being a teacher at Sadler I have had the privilege of teaching at a National School of Character and a National Blue Ribbon School. Both awards are of very prestigious recognition that showcase the efforts of our school’s educators. Knowing that I am among educators of that magnitude and that they chose me to represent them is an honor. As a teacher, this honor is important to my profession because it allows me to showcase the importance of being a positive role model for my students and colleagues.”

How much did you have to work to accomplish this goal or honor?

“I feel the emphasis on this accomplishment reflects the drive and compassion one exhibits during daily interactions with students and colleagues.”

What plans do you have for the future?

“My future plans are to continue to be a lifelong learner so that I am able to provide the best education for our future leaders.”
