Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez ditched Oscars weekend in LA to hang out in the boardroom at Yankee Stadium with a group of high-school students from The Bronx on Sunday.
Rodriguez’s investment firm A-Rod Corp partnered with Project Destined to launch a youth-education program designed to promote financial literacy and leadership development.
“The students worked on a real estate presentation. It was like an in-depth conversation with A-Rod. When one student pitched, she spoke directly to Alex and J.Lo. She said, ‘This property is right next to a baseball field and we know you like baseball, Alex. And Miss Jennifer, we know you like shopping, and this property has great shopping.’ The room laughed and Jennifer replied, ‘That would be a fair assumption.’ ”
The couple chatted with the other panelists in between presentations — and at one point smooched.
Lopez has been filming new movie “Second Act” in town.
